We had our great tree finding adventure a few days ago.

The next step.

DECORATE!

I for years have had great need to take control of the tree decorating experience.

This year.....

I took a step back!!

Aren't you proud!

I hung the lights while the boys were at school.

Then I let them go!

 Alex accompanied us with festive carols!

 Little miss took charge and ordered everyone around.

Alex organized his ornaments.(they are in order by year)
I'm so sad this year he thinks he might want a new kind.
But they are so cute.

Jared eventually joined us.

Decking the halls

I love decorating for Christmas.

Always have.

I use to get so excited to decorate my moms house and she always let me!

I love vintage glass ornaments. 
They remind me of decorating my Grandpa's tree.
I buy them whenever I find a good deal on them.
