the best season ever!!

Fall really is best!

and this fall has been AMAZING!!!

Friday evening the wind picked up

and the leaves really started to fall

Saturday afternoon the leaves from my maple trees were almost all gone

making a nice red blanket for my grass

Sunday I went for a walk during the golden hour to capture what might be left around the neighborhood

The rain started about 15 minutes into my walk but I still got a few good ones!
a week later the trees are almost completely bare, my red carpet has been blown away and its starting to feel more like winter. I don't think I'm ready for winter so I'm praying that it holds back for a few more weeks!

the fog

for nearly a week we were encased in fog
all day
everyday
it was so weird

Grace really wanted to take a walk in the fog

her picture of me isn't as cute

our house looked so inviting when we came around the corner

while we were gone 
the boys started up a fire

i loved how the trees looked with the light of the fire

we also had an abundance of spiderwebs 

they are draped over everything
still loving fall!
fog, spiders and all!

a little reality

 This is just a basic day with a willful 4 year old

she really doesn't get her way all the time
even though she does try
and yes she is soaking wet, throwing a fit and I stopped to take pictures!!!

and just because it always amazes me
we have two eagles that keep stopping in our backyard

its pictures like this that make me want a longer lens
maybe someday!
