Memorial Day Weekend

We are not known for our spontaneity but when your weekend camping plans are canceled due to extreme rainfall what are you gonna do? At 9:30 Saturday morning be decided to head to Seattle, by 10:15 (a record for us) we were loaded into our faithful Suburban and on the road. At 10:45 we were headed home threatening the miss behaving boys we nothing but weed pulling and cleaning if they didn't shape up. At 11:05 we were headed back to Seattle (behavior fixed).

We took the family to the Burke Natural History Museum on the University of Washington campus. We have #1 dinosaur fan (Alex) in the family. He was thrilled by the fossils and casts of Dinosaurs. Jared loved all the Native American Heritage exhibits. They have been studying them in 3rd grade this year. So he felt he was an expert of the subject. Tyler just loved that they had daggers and swords.

We then decided to head to Costco to fill our pantry and freezer. We thought we knew where we were going then decided we didn't pulled out the iphone map turned around got lost spent and hour looking decided to go with our original plan and drove straight there.

Then we headed to my favorite Restaurant for dinner. It was a first for my kids. They decided next time they will all get steaks!

We took the ferry home!

Memorial Day

What could be better for breakfast than chocolate covered strawberries?

The boys love to ride their bikes. We rode from our house out to Mailor Point. It is about 8 miles round trip and the boys did great!

We went to REI sale.

Then we went to Larabee State Park.

Haircuts and we are all ready for summer!!
