The guests have arrived!

I was given complete instructions on how this birthday party was to go. Every detail was considered by the birthday boy. He knew exactly what he wanted and he got it. The order

1. friends come
2. play.
3. pizza and soda
4. open gifts
5. begin movie
6. pause movie for cake and ice cream
7. finish movie
8. hand out candy

Tyler's birthday parties are always awesome. Low key and simple. He really just wanted his friends to come over and watch a movie. He didn't even care if they brought him a present.  What Eric and I thought was funny was his movie selection. He didn't want a current fast paced kids flick no he chose a classic movie celebrating 40 years of timelessness.
We thought for sure the boys would all be bored. But no, they all watched in amazement and awe!

Tyler's best buds. Marcus, Bryson, Parker, Kaden, and Egan. They are all as goofy and sweet as he is!
Good way to watch the movie.
Jared has a better idea. Let's make a fort.
Best method to watch the movie.... in the fort!

Favorite present. The pocket knife with spoon and fork included!!

Close second on the favorite present!

Other activities....
 Army...
 games
 Dinosaurs
Legos
 Mom gets to clean up!
It was a great success and fun was had by all. Our favorite lines from the evening.
"I'm sweaty"
"I'm a squirrel without a brain in my head"??
"I'll show you how to use that present I brought you!"
"Let's have a pillow fight"
and of course
"Jared it's not your party!"

Really 6and 7 year old boys are hilarious!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYLER!
