Alex's day out with dad!

I got to go on my trip to the zoo because I earned 20 stars! The way you get 20 stars is to be good for 20 days. This is me on the ferry boat. 

There are sleeping wild dogs in the caves.

This is a Kimono dragon.  A Kimono dragon is a lizard and a dragon. I like the Kimono dragon A LOT.

This is a crocodile. I can't remember if this is a crocodile or an alligator. 

This is a snake!

A rainbow beaked toucan. At least that's what I call it.

This is me riding a statue leopard.
My dad went with me to the zoo. I saw every animal in the WHOLE park. I love going to the zoo!!!
Next time I get my 20 stars I'm going to the zoo.

OK this post is way overdue. They went to the zoo January 27th. Whoops. Well, better late than never right! We instigated a new policy in January hoping to motivate one of the boys into some better behavior. Alex quickly decided he should have a chance to earn 20 stars as well and quickly earned his in about 22 days. The reward... a date with dad. We took him out of school for the day and he and Eric headed down to the Woodland Park Zoo. One of Alex's most favorite places in the world. He has the ability to be calm and quite and the animals always come out of hiding for him. They had a great day and ended it at Alex's favorite restaurant Outback Steak House! What a perfect father son day!
