Jared brought this home from school today. I don't know who wrote it. I'm guessing his teacher. I thought I would share it because I think it really hits the mark for all of us.
Attitude makes the difference.......
The longer I live , the more I realize that impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, that what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gifted ability or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home.
The remarkable thing is, we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past; we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing that we can do is play on the one string that we have and this string is attitude. I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it. And so it is with you....WE ARE IN CHARGE OF OUR ATTITUDES.

ok, I just posted on my blog about this very same thing. Although, I didn't realize that what I was trying to get across is attitude! Seriously, why can't we live closer together? We would so be friends!
