I know Valentine's was a week ago.
But better late than never right.
For the first time in...
well I can't remember the last time
Eric and I went out to dinner on Valentine's day.
A friend volunteered to come sit with my kids.
Eric brought me some beautiful roses
He picked me up in one of these!
Yeah it's not ours.
Our car isn't working.
A friend lent us theres.
It's nice to have friends!
And off we went to enjoy a nice meal at a 4 star restaurant
At least that's what we thought.

As to the food...
For the first time ever we wrote a review here it is....
Quite possibly the worst restaurant and food I have ever eaten at. With an inclining we were in trouble after being seated and then MOVED we stuck it out. The server brought the soup and salad before the appetizer, the appetizer was cold and stale, dinner was essentially Van De Kamps frozen fish and was cold to boot. The classy Formica table top with EQUAL sugar substitute center piece was the crowning achievement. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day with this place. Great location, terrible food and service that could use a bit of instruction on making the dining experience enjoyable. On the other hand if you are into steamed baby carrots by the dozen as the garnish this is the place for you!
We gave it 1 star.
Sad I know.
We had been there 12 years ago and remembered it well.
I guess a lot of things change over the years.
We still had a great time together.
And it will be memorable to say the least!

Linda, to be fair, I highly suggest you try the restaurant again on a day besides V-day (or Mothers Day). I have found that EVERYTIME we go out to a restaurant on Valentines the food, service, and experience is terrible when it is usually great. Then again, I don't blame you if you never return...
I think the intent was fabulous! Even better that both you and Eric can laugh about it.
