missed

SO this morning as i was getting ready to drive the boys down to spend a couple day with their cousins I had the random thought to take my camera.

Did I listen to that random thought?

No!!!
I pushed it aside and said "there will be nothing to take a pictures of I'm going to be driving all day it will just be one more thing to lug around.

OH
what a big mistake HUGE!!!!

Tonight driving home I saw the most beautiful sight ever
and I missed it.

My description will not come close but its all I have to try a preserve the moment so it will have to do.

I was driving across Deception pass bridge about 10 minutes before sunset, in some of the worst rain I've ever driven in (and that's saying something) when I looked to my left and saw the most perfect rainbow I've ever seen. BEAUTIFUL doesn't describe it.  The sun streaming through. The arch descending into the trees and mist below. The rainbow continued to follow me home until the sun finally set into the ocean.
Oh it was amazing.
So strange  to have a downpour, a gorgeous sunset and a glorious rainbow all at once.

OH how I wished I'd had my camera.
Drivers were pulling off the road and every outlet
and me?
I just kept on driving.
Not even attempting to use my camera phone.

Oh well.
Missed opportunity.
But what a sight to see. It's one of those moment where you can't help but feel uplifted and remember that you are loved!
What a gift rainbows are!
