So not every hubby would be proud of his wife when he came home to this....
Yuck!!!
the sink is totally over flowing with days worth of dishes.
Why is he so proud of me?
Because it is taking every ounce of my self control to NOT do the dishes for my son!!
Oh it is so hard.
I can't stand it.
I have to leave the room.
My kitchen must be clean.
Even if the rest of my house looks like a hurricane went through
the kitchen HAS TO BE CLEAN!!!!
After about 2 days we had nothing to eat on.
Yet the message didn't seem to be getting through.
He made a half hearted attempt and did one load of dishes.
And was furious to discover that there were still dishes to do.
HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?
he apparently was under the illusion that the ferries came and magically did the rest for you.
YEAH I WISH
this continued for the entire week.
Now we rotate jobs every Saturday.
But you can't move on until either mom or dad checks the job and passes you off. Makes sense. Right?
HOURS
he spent HOURS doing dishes and more dishes
groaning and complaining every minute and not very quietly too I should add
We are the worst parents ever to walk the face of the earth... no other child his age has to do jobs... this is child abuse...... etc. etc.
But we persisted and now look!
It's clean and maybe with any luck he learned something?
And I have to say I am proud of myself too. I was tempted many times to do it for him and rescue myself from the filth! But I did it!!
