But wasn't excited about having his picture taken!
Alex's birthday was such a fun full day!
To start with there was the usual of school but for the birthday boy he had to take the state MSP test :(
All the boys had practice and J had a game
Which turned out to be the most thrilling Little League game
EVER!
It lasted 2 and 1/2 hours!!
I'll just give you the highlight.
We played the undefeated team.
At the bottom of the 6th inning (they only play 6) we were down with 2 outs teammate up.....
and yes a hit!!!
Final score 15-16 us!!!
The coach was so excited he took the team to Dairy Queen!
So later that night (like 9:30)
We get to open presents
we try really hard to give an experience
rather than just toys!
So this year Alex got tickets for the family to go watch the Seattle Sounders play!
It's a pro soccer team for those of you unfamiliar with them
he was so excited!
he also got his Webelos stuff for cub scouts, a new soccer ball and also a rubber ball
It is so yummy!!!
Saturday was game day
Go Sounders!
Actually they lost 0-1 but we still had a fabulous time!
