With this beautiful rainbow that I found on Pinterest in mind...
we set off on an adventure
we began the 1.3 mile walk to the store
Jared wanted to check out something at Wal-mart so we headed there first
He is working and saving his money to buy an DSI because his parents are too mean to buy one for him!
They didn't have what I need so another stop was made
they didn't give me one
Don't mom's deserve a sweet treat?
Maybe they thought I'd had a few too many cookies?
I'm over it now!
Items purchased we started our 1.3 mile climb home
it is totally up hill!
the entire way!
the boys are awesome
they took turns pushing the stroller and carrying the bags
Jello!
I have to confess
I CAN'T MAKE JELLO
no joke
it never turns out
so why I thought I would be able to make a 6 layer jello parfait?
I don't know what came over me
but I thought for sure we could do it
Happy children.
They all picked a color to help with
Ms. Gracie choose purple (of course)

Add the cool whip layer
this is where is starts to go bad....

We begin the blue layer
blue jello looks good
it sinks straight to the bottom....
and yes I gave it plenty of time to set
not the best picture but you get the idea
This is where the boys loose interest in continuing this project!
OK!
Only one brave enough to try it.....
he didn't like it
Project declare an EPIC fail by the boys
Lets move on to something I can make!
Banana bread!!!!!
I'm giving up such grand ideas as making Jello
but we saved the day with awesome banana bread
and we haven't given up or Make It Monday plans
What will we do next?

Ok I was cracking up so hard. That is me I can not make jello Bren always has to make it. I was wondering if you let the jello cool between each color...that might be the problem of the blue slipping to the bottom! Love it, but you can't go wrong with banana bread!
