Sometime I think we live in the coolest place
and I mean that two ways
cool chilly, fresh, cold and calm
and
cool neat or awesome!
on the island is and old 1880's fort.
its one of 3 forts that protected the Puget Sound from a possible attack that never happened
but now it is the best place to explore and fly kites!
We took a picnic dinner and
tried not to freeze while we ate it!

Eric loves to fly kites!
there was enough wind to get 4 out of 5 kites up!
others explored the fort
she loves him

we must have seen 10 go by
he is so sweet with her!
we were joined by others
after awhile some of us headed down the bluff to the beach
mom was
dad was still loving his kites!
peaceful, quiet and everyone had a good time!

You really do live in a beautiful place!! I love the kites...so fun. I was in Modesto last week for a reunion...it was hot! But it's hotter this week! Do you ever miss the heat? I know you were not one to stick around Modesto in the summers.
