Hoggle Zoo

Another first for me

at least I think it is

I don't remember going before

Hoggle Zoo!

The kids had put on our summer to do list go to the zoo

I meant to go to the zoo in Seattle but since summer was rapidly coming to a close we spent the afternoon here with

monkeys...

 African Elephants

tigers
my favorite of the day!

and all in 97 degree heat
yuck
now that's only about 30 degree higher than our average summer temperature
we spent more than a few minutes in front of the misting fan

he dumped most of his water bottle over his head!

and Ms. Grace got to ride another carousel

 with her Laura

we stayed until closing
ate ice cream cones and enjoyed the evening as in cooled off!
