Leaf hunt

We're going on a leaf hunt!!!

YEAH

actually that was my way of getting Grace to cooperate while I practice shooting 

I had an assignment that required a sunny day

hard to come by here in late October/November

so at the first opportunity I grabbed it!

This adventure required a basket

"a cute basket"

Fun to see the alyssum still poking thru

Messed up 

never got her in focus but its still cute

I wish it was 

I love the angle of her head and her expression

A successful hunt!

a semi/mostly successful photography experience
I did have fun and I'm still learning
so much to think about

 with our blue ski rapidly disappearing

we headed home

did you notice?

she insists likes to walk on the lines!

I'm finding people or at least 3 year olds very hard to get good pictures of
leaves, flowers OK 
people are hard
she moves so much and I'm thinking so hard about my ISO, shutter speed and aperture that I miss it
but practice, practice, practice
