We tried to surprise Eric for his birthday
the boys wanted to get him tickets to a Mariners game
its one of Eric's favorite things to do
it got to the point we had to included him in the planning
but it was still a great gift!
we loaded up the car after our Saturday games
and headed to Seattle!
its always fun traveling in heavy traffic with car sick kids
but we made it to Safeco Field
just a tiny bit late
Grandma and Pops met up there!
we ate 2 of my most favorite foods
Pizza and chocolate covered strawberries!!
what could be better?
ok the birthday boy had a hot dog and salt water taffy
so I guess it is totally a matter of opinion
we had great seats along the 3rd base line
we even made the TV broadcast
Eric's friend texted us during the game and told us he just saw us at the game!!
Even the little one did well at the game!
this is in the elevator riding up back to our car
she got a little scared and hid back in the corner of a very full car
she just looked so tiny around all those people
this isn't a fabulous picture
it's hard getting a picture driving along the freeway
but I really love the Seattle skyline at night
great way to spend the evening!
thanks pops and granny for sharing the evening with us

So, so cool!! And you were on tv! Does the ballpark do the kiss cam? I always think that's hilarious. Looks like a fabulous way to celebrate 4-0! Lucky guy!
