clouds, colors, clarinets and other totally random information!

It's fall!

I love it!

how exciting everything is in the fall!

there is this perfect golden light that happens every evening

so there might be a few pictures of well

trees, leaves, the sky

you know,

pretty stuff

basically in the evenings my family is getting use to my grabbing the camera and heading out the door

Grace has started drawing people
I love this stage

the real question is which is which?

you might be surprised

the other night after dropping Jared off at scouts I decided to take the long way home
needed time to think and relax 
I was driving past west beach just in time for sunset
I only had my phone with me so its not fabulous but the colors sure are

the next morning Jared took this one 
its in our moving car on the way to school
its a beautiful sunrise 
its blurry but you get the idea
I love those dark clouds in front!

 It amazes me how many different beautiful colors the sky can be


Elizabeth has announced to her preschool they will call her Grace
there was a bit of confusion at the beginning there are 2 other Graces that attend the school
not in her class
but they were hoping she would go by Elizabeth
that's not working out
she says she likes Grace better
nothing like a girl who knows her own mind


this was

we did good
she looked adorable!
and she is allowing me to do something with her hair these day

and then there is the new of "the return of the clarinet"
this was mine
scary
after a little work it was back in playing condition
and it is clear to me that Alex after a week has more potential that I did after 6 years!!! 
he might have practiced more in the first week than I did in 6 years.....
ok I wasn't that bad

he is loving it and thankfully like the piano 
I don't have to ask him to practice
he practices both instrument daily for at least 30 minutes
no bribes no music being flown across the room 
the occasional burst of drama when its it not perfect (the first time)
but by the 3rd or 4th pass at it he's got it

so that is a bit of our randomness these days
its back to normal around here
no more vacations for a while
just the holidays to look forward to!
fast passed life
the boys were saying just this morning that they are nearly done with the 1st quarter of school
now that is crazy!!

well I will share more of our crazy life tomorrow
I know you are all so excited!
