I really can't believe this was a week ago
last Saturday Eric and Jared were gone to seattle for a youth temple trip
I spent the day taking each of the others 1 on 1 for Christmas shopping
it was really nice to get a little time with each of them
they bought presents for their dad and siblings
that evening we headed to our local downtown small time Christmas
we went from store to store
most shops had a little treat for us
I bought myself a new silver tree
did I mention I love silver trees!
not that 2 of them are all that little
almost ready
the kids are getting super excited
we are baking, listening to carols and still trying to NOT run around like crazy people!

I had to laugh at the last line! At Halloween, a mom of a 3 year old was telling me how her son just seemed to be wild that day. I said, "Just wait until Christmas Eve." "Really?" "Yes."
