Look at all those boys! My boy looks so little.
The genius kit. The boys were all given a bag full of .....well... junk and asked to create a thing that reminded them of a State or a way to travel between States. Jared chose to make the airplane that we flew to California in. He did it all by himself (actually I offered to help and was told he could do it himself). What is really amazing to me is that he didn't use any glue or adhesive. He peeled the fuzz off of the pipe cleaners in his bag and wired the 30 pieces together.

You are so ready, it is your destiny! All you need is a shirt.
I'm totally impressed...with all of it!!! I LOVE that the boys are so inventive...who would know if you guys did it? (I'm tucking that reminder into my brain.)
I don't think I'm ready for scouts either...we're both going to be entrenched with it!
Thats how boys should be! Creative, able to entertain themselves and confident! You are a fantastic mother.. Get ready because what you thought about kids will soon throw you for a loop with a girl in tow!! You will love it but they are very different than those crazy but good natured boys!
Wow!! That's great how he didn't use tape or glue!! He's simply a genius! : ) Way to go on all the cars!! : ) I like how you let them do the cars themselves!! And you know you are so ready for scouts and Jared being 8!! : ) Silly!! You're just plain awesome and awesome can handle anything!!
And Linda...you will have to say a big "HELLO" to your parents for me! :) (And you'll have to tell you dad I haven't come to visit them because I've just plumb been out-of-town, not because you weren't there. ;)
