St. Patricks Day!

Traditions are a funny a thing. One year I decided to celebrated St. Patrick's Day thinking it would make a fun day. It was back in the day when all 3 boys were home all day and I did a kind of home preschool for Jared and Alex. And what a great day to celebrate green! So everything that day became green. We also decided to leave something for the leprechauns to see if they would change it into gold. The kids loved it so much that they want to do it every year! I nearly forgot this year but luckily my friend reminded me so I was prepared when Jared came running home wanting to put the stuff out for the leprechauns. He had found a 4 leaf clover! I had actually never even seen one before but he found one at the bus stop. He was thrilled! And he knew that it would bring him luck. This is what the leprechauns brought us this morning. A basket full of gold (Rolos, Reeces peanut butter cups, etc.)!

So answer me this. This is about my middle Alex. How can be very doubtful at 6 that there is a Santa Claus and know for a fact that leprechauns are real?

I'm with Alex on this one. Leprechauns are far more likely than one guy all over the world in one night.

I always think about doing something cool for St. Patrick's Day like sprinkling green glitter in the toilet and telling the boys that the leprechaun used our toilet, but I was too lazy.

I have toilets on the brain right now or something.

Like I've said before, I'm such a minimalist with holidays! I need to step it up!!! This was VERY fun Linda. And I had to laugh about Alex. Eric has already announced there is no Easter bunny, but like Alex, leprechauns visited his school yesterday while they were at lunch. Go figure.
