We had a great Thanksgiving. This was our first Thanksgiving out of 15 that we spent in our own home. It was wonderful and actually quite. We rested and just enjoyed not rushing around. We had dinner with just us than later that evening went to some good friends to share pies and play games.
One of my favorite traditions of Christmas time is getting the tree. I have always loved it. So of course I drag out my family with me and we trudge all over the farm looking for the perfect tree. The last 8 years we have gone to Woodbee Tree Farms. Santa is always there. But this year Jared thought he was too old to stand with Santa. Not too old however to climb through the haystack tunnels with his brothers. We ended with a nice cup of hot apple cider.
The boys love decorating the tree! We put on the Christmas music and let the boys work their magic! Every year Santa brings them a new ornament and they love putting their ornaments on the tree.
Merry Christmas!!

Great photos. We love a quite holiday at home too. And we always go to Woodbees for our tree. Love it all. We will have to have you all over for dinner. You will have to bring that game we were playing Saturday. I told George all about it.
Wow Linda your pies look so yummy. Looks like a yummy Thanksgiving meal. See ya soon...can't wait.
REally? You've always been gone? Wow. The pies look YUMMY. And I love the tree tradition. We do still always get a real tree, but the name of our farm is Lowe's. Exciting huh?
