Thanksgiving Point

For years I have driven by Thanksgiving Point in Utah and never really paid much attention. Well this trip we decided to check it out. I can only say WOW! We picked a day that happened to be $0.50 admission so everyone in the state of Utah was there. But still it was amazing. It is the largest dinosaur museum. Who knew. My kids were amazed. I was amazed. First we hit the IMAX movie. Then the museum.

Your friendly T-rex.

The T-rex of the Ocean.

This is a fossilized fern that Jared loved.

Relative of today's great white shark.

I have no idea what this was but it looks cool.

The have an area that the kids an uncover the bones of a dinosaur. This was a huge hit. No one wanted to leave until ice cream was promised.

Three swirls and two vanilla. Did I mention they were $0.50 ice cream cones. They were huge too.

Then we played in the splash park. Perfect end to the day.

Great day with the cousins.

Wow! I didn't know they had all that stuff there! My boys would have eaten it up too. We've yet to go a really good dino museum.
