Our second week

Our second week of summer turned out to be as busy as our first!
We headed down to City Beach. Which has been left unrated. We are hoping for a recap. It was chilly and threatening rain and we stayed less than an hour.

Not the best picture of Ms. Elizabeth but I don't post many pictures of me on the blog. Besides Tyler took it. He love taking pictures.

Monday's we (or I guess I should say I) are calling "Make Something Days". So we went on a "treasure hunt" around the house. Looking for broken toys or things we were planning on throwing away and made junk sculptures!  And just so you know Tyler made that face on purpose. There are 7 more takes just like it.
Hot glue, junk
And for some power tools
And we had some amazing projects.
A basketball hoop. It worked too, he made several basket by firing that bouncing ball off the platform.
Alex made a Army fort. And Tyler gave up saying he couldn't make anything out of his junk. So sad Tyler. :( He may not like Make something Mondays.

See this beautiful picture of my breakfast. Photo #8 close up. Isn't it pretty! Making me want fresh fruit again!
Oh and cinnamon muffins!
Then our week slowed down when little bit spent 4 days with a fever and one of them.... well lest just say very sick. I finally got her to lay still on a towel and then just wash the towel. And that is how Eric and I spent our 16th anniversary. Not, how we planned. We cancelled our reservations and stayed home with our sick baby girl.
She laid still for hours, she never stays still. It was so sad and she has been so clingy. Poor Princess.
I was able to muddle through with my chocolate covered strawberries!!!
and  an amazing bouquet of roses! Thank you Eric!

Happy 16 years!!
