I took Laura to Anacortes
its such a fun little town
we hit the antique store, looked in at the fabric store, played at their awesome toy shop and went to one of my favorite spots for lunch
the Calico Cupboard
Laura was excited because they have a gluten free menu
but that includes gluten free muffins, cookies, breads, etc.
so yummy!

Alex tried to take our photo

we went with a self photo

On the way home we made a couple stops
the first Bowman's bay
we decided to take a short hike
we notice the start of fall
I love how this picture turned out
it looks old!
love the reflection
everything
I don't take many photos that I just love
but this one I might have to print and put out somewhere
Then the bridge
I have lived here almost 12 years and this was the first time I've walked all the way across the bridge
I've gone half way and turned back but never to the other side and back again
if you are wondering
only Alex and Elizabeth came on our adventure this day
the others...
well lets just say they stayed home
it really is a long way down
Like this picture too!
getting back into town we hit the farmers market
love the farmers market!
I don't think any of the berries made it to the next day
then to top off our truly Whidbey Island experience
we went to the drive in
and an amazing rainbow appeared!
the features were
Planes... not my favorite
I actually keep checking the clock to see how much was left
then the second feature was Percy Jackson which I did like
I think that sums up Laura's adventure to the Pacific Northwest
I think she had a good time!
I know I did!
I felt like I was on vacation too!
who wants to come visit next?
