I try very hard to keep this little girl "actively engaged"
because if I don't help her find activities she finds her own...
we've opted not to put her in preschool
she seemed too little back in September
she'd probably do fantastic
but there is no harm being home with me!
I'm pretty awesome!
and she'll go to plenty of school
she loves play dough
so we make it
its fun to make and it makes it more of a project than just opening the classic yellow cup and having a small little ball to play with
so pour the flour
dump the salt
add a little cream of tartar
stir stir stir
add your favorite color
stir some more
and wait for it to cool (probably the hardest part)
this is way more fun!
and hours of play
and i might be able to sneak in some time for a project of my own!
when I finally convince her to get dressed
this is what she chooses

her new fluorescent pink sweater from target (seriously the picture doesn't do it justice it is so bright! $3 and she LOVES it)
and of course the boots!
