but since we can only make fires to cook we roasted s'mores!

5 out of 6 people in the house love s'mores
I'm the odd man out
I am more than satisfied with 1 a year
which of course needs to be the deluxe version with peanut butter cups and fudge stripe cookies ( and marshmallow is totally optional)
none of this graham cracker and Hersey bar things...yuck!
I guess technically Eric doesn't like s'mores
it's that chocolate thing
but he loves marshmallows and is perfectly fine roasting them and popping them in his mouth
so together we like a s'more!

he will be 15 in about 6 weeks

happy now but at least one will be crying in just a matter of seconds
they are playing "Sandlot" style these days
trying to round up all the kids in the neighborhood who want to play
its harder than in sounds
they can only ever seem to get 5 kids together
including them
but the summer is still young maybe the idea will catch on
alone by the fire after everyones is bored and moved on
but I'm trying to make an effort to take more pictures of Eric
of me
and the two of us together
we have hardly made an appearance in a photo in the last 10 years
and that's probably not good
its hard to remember
but Tyler is usually eager to take my camera
so maybe we will be more frequent visitors on the blog!

It's raining here today
with the likelihood of rain all week
