a long time or have you lost your mind?

I'm still kind of back blogging

I haven't even post about the 4th of July yet but I had to skip ahead and blog about what we did yesterday

I have wanted to do this for about 2 years maybe even more

I guess that's how long my to do list is

which is sad 

I need to make a better effort to put my ideas at a higher priority

but here it is

this is not my idea

its probably been done thousands of times by now

I first saw it on a blog years ago

and now it is all over Pinterest

first we sorted 

I love sorting!
Especially into rainbow colors!

then we put them in order 
even better

 the exact order was greatly debated

time to hot glue
fuzzy picture
time to fire my assistant photographer

really he was happy
but didn't want to smile for Jared

at first it splattered everywhere

so we moved it outside

so much fun!

so pretty!

I thought about my sister while I made this
she knows every color in the box 
with out looking 
and I don't mean red blue or green

I'm red-violet compared to violet red!

I think it turned out amazing

and my kids all love it!

but my dad called me this morning after seeing it on Facebbok to ask if I lost my mind
so clearly this project isn't for everyone
I loved it
