summer

the boys had been gone for a couple of hours longer than planned one Saturday 

Grace and I were getting restless for something to do

so we headed down the road to the beach

we were enjoying ourselves 
relaxing in the quiet watching the sunset

when who comes 
DADDY!
he had left the boys at home 
and joined our fun
how much more fun can you have then stacking rock and digging holes in the sand!

 my photographer tried to take our picture

self portraits work out better sometimes
sometimes not

 it was a beautiful evening

Love this picture might have to go on the wall!

it is one of my favorite things about living here  
going down to the beach and just enjoying the beauty
